Keynote Speaker: R.A. Dickey

R.A. Dickey attended Montgomery Bell Academy in Nashville, followed by the University of Tennessee where he played UT Vols Baseball from 1992-1996. He was drafted by the Texas Rangers in 1996 in the first round of the MLB draft. Dickey would go on to win the Bronze medal in the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta for Men's Baseball. He played for various teams from the 1996 draft through the 2017 season with the Atlanta Braves. Most notably, in 2012 he was awarded the NL Cy Young Award while pitching for the New York Mets. R.A. was most known for his untouchable knuckleball. He currently makes his home in Middle Tennessee with his wife of 28 years and 4 children.
